Holli S. Wasser, M.A., CCC-SLP

Holli S. Wasser, M.A., CCC-SLP, received her Masters of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Kean University and her Bachelor of Music from Mannes College of Music where she studied bassoon and vocal performance. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a New Jersey State license. She is a presently on the faculty of Hofstra University, Montclair State University and Princeton University where she teaches applied jazz vocal studies and is musical director of the jazz vocal ensemble (at MSU). She is a member of musician’s local 802 and the Jazz Educator’s Network. Ms. Wasser frequently presents vocal health clinics and workshops at schools and vocal camps. 

As an experienced performer and singing instructor, Ms. Wasser brings a highly specialized set of skills to the clinical setting with her particular interests in voice disorders and care of the professional voice (singers, actors, teachers, salespeople, etc.). She performs complete voice, speech, and language evaluations and treatments for both adults and children. Her training background includes instrumental assessment and treatment of adult patients with voice disorders at Vox Humana Voice Laboratory Head & Neck Surgical Group and she is competent in Videostroboscopy. In addition, she has worked in acute care hospitals, private practice, and outpatient facilities with children and adults presenting a variety of disorders encompassing speech language, central auditory processing, oral motor, phonological disorders, apraxia, dysphagia, aphasia, and dysarthria. She has provided practicum experiences for undergraduate and master level speech pathologists. Ms. Wasser is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association in addition to the Voice Special Interest Division of the Association and the New Jersey Speech Language Hearing Association.
